Main functions description: The Operational Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Irmão, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in operational management within the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are advantageous
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality operations, including F&B, customer service, and event management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays;
Duties and Responsibilities | Regular Tasks
- Coordinate daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Implement and maintain operational standards and procedures
- Monitor and optimize operational efficiency and productivity
- Assist in staff scheduling and resource allocation;
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards;
- Collaborate with the General Manager on strategic planning and implementation;
- Handle customer feedback and resolve complex operational issues;
- Support the planning and execution of events and special promotions;
- Assist in training and development programs for staff;
- Ensure effective communication between departments;
